WHAT TO CHECK ON A GUIDE BAR
- Nominal bar length: The advertised cutting length, not necessarily the full physical length.
- Pitch: Must match the chain and drive sprocket system.
- Gauge: Must match the drive-link thickness of the chain.
- Mount pattern: Compare the mounting slot, stud spacing and tail profile.
- Oiling holes: Oil-feed position must align with the saw.
